Evolution of Immortality and Ghost of the Gods

Immortality and Ghost of the Gods was a dream twelve years in the making. The concept for the novel was born in August 1993 with a working title of Anaerobic. The first version took two years to write. In March 1995, this early version was filed with the copyright office with a working title of God's Clay.

Over the following ten years, the novel went through many revisions and the working title changed to COBC and then to Transformation of the Species, the name under which a version close to the final published edition was filed with the copyright office in July 2003. The novel was painstakingly polished again and again until it sparkled. The characters grew in depth and individuality to a point where, now that the first edition of the book is published as Immortality in March 2007, the author misses his daily interaction with them.

Immortality and Ghost of the Gods was always a story to be told in two parts. Sadly, all of the environmental problems occurring in the first draft in 1993 still exist these many years later, with no signs of remedy on the horizon.
